KanchenJunga is the third Highest point on the Earth. It rises to 8586m above the sea level. It lies in the eastern part of Nepal. Its  position: Latitude:27○ 44’09” and Longitude: 88○09’25’’   First summit: on 25th May 1955 by Christopher Band from UK via South West  Face. Kanchenjunga means “Five Magnificent Snow Treasures” a reference to the five high peaks that rise from the surrounding glaciers. The  five mountains from the southeast are South Peak (8491m), Central Peak (8478m), and Main Peak-8586m, in the westward, there are Yalung  Kang and Khambachen.

Facts: It’s largest among 8000ers and the route to the summit is longest among 8000m mountains. It was considered to be the highest mountains till 1856. It is not that Technical Mountain but its height made climbers suffer on it.

Day 02/03: Stay in Kathmandu for paper work and shopping.

Day 04:      fly to Biratnagar early morning and Drive to Phidim and then camping.

Day 05:      Drive to Khandenba by private jeep.
Day 06:     Trek to Khewang.
Day 07:      Trek to Yamphudin.
Day 08:     Trek to Baisi danda or dirct to Torongtang.
Day 09:     Trek to Torontang forest camp.
Day 10:      Trek to Tseram.
Day 11:        Trek to Ramje.
Day 12:      Trek through moraine to glacier camp.

Roughly calculated Climbing period Itinerary

Day1: Arrival in Base camp:

Day2-5: Rest+puja+ Route fixing to camp2

Day6: Members team climb to camp1

Day7: members team climb to camp2

Day8: Members team climb above camp2 to gain higher altitude and descend back to base camp.

Day9-11: Rest time for members and Sherpa team will secure route to camp3

Day 12: members team climb to camp2 directly

Day13: Members team climb to camp3

Day 14: Members team climb above camp3 to gain higher altitude and descend back to base camp

Day 15-20: Climber team take rest and Sherpa team set up route to camp4 and deposit all required rope, oxygen and tents required for final summit push

Day21-24: Wait for perfect weather to go summit. If the weather remains good and all fixing and carrying happens on plan then summit push can be done earlier without further waiting.

Day 25: All team members depart together for final summit push/ climb to camp2 directly

Day26: Sherpa team climb camp2 to camp4 and member team climb to camp3

Day 27: Sherpa team will fix rope above camp4 to half way of summit and member team climb to camp4

Day28:  Sherpa team depart 1-2hrs earlier to fix route to summit and member team follow them to summit and descend back to camp4 after summit success

Day29: Descend back to base camp

Da 30: those who fly back by helicopter will fly back and those who trek will take rest and wait porters.

2018: Ms Dong Hong Juan -China, Ms Nima Jangmu Sherpa, Mr Phur Galjen Sherpa and Mr Nawang Rapke Sherpa made Summit on 23-May-2018 at 6 am.

     Ms Nima Jangmu Sherpa set world record by climbing first 3 highest mountains of Nepal in just 25 days. It was recorded in Guinness World Record.

2013: our MD, MingmaGand Reza Shahlei from Iran made successful summit on 19th May 2013. Other member got back from C-IV.
